Agoura Hills Police Department

The city of Agoura hills has entrusted the safety of their people to the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, which is a part of the much larger Los Angeles Police Department. The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station is located in the heart of the city of Agoura Hills at 27050 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. It is the job of the entire station to make sure that the city of Agoura Hills and all of it’s neighboring cities are as safe as possible at all times.

The Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s station relies on the Los Angeles Police Department for assistance for certain cases and projects, as well as man power and equipment. This station serves the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, Westlake Village, Chatsworth Lake Mano, Malibou Lake, Topanga, and West Hills.  The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station made it their mission to create a permanent relationship between the residents and the police where they work together to make the community a much better place to live in.

The men and women in law enforcement are dedicated to helping the community and to make sure that they are a big part of the community by volunteering at community events. Every one of the officers stationed at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station has to go through an intense training academy before they are hired into the station. They must first complete a term at the police academy and pass in order to be considered for a position at the Lost Hills Station.

Once they get to the Sheriff’s Station, they will go through some more intense training from the LAPD to make sure that they could handle any situation that they may encounter while on duty. They also have a Civilian Volunteer section which allows residents to volunteer their free time to help make the community a better place to live in by being an extra pair of eyes for the officers patrolling the city and helping with road blocks as well as checkpoints.

When you are arrested in any of the cities mentioned above, you will most likely be taken to the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, which is where you will be held until you are bailed out of jail or transferred to the County Jail. However the case with all of the arrest information will be sent to the nearest LA County Courthouse. In the case of Agoura Hills, the case will be sent to the Burbank Courthouse. This is where the defendant will have to fight his or her case and until he or she is sentenced or the case is dismissed.
